Session 2: Infertility – A Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Perspective

This course presents infertility from a TCM perspective. Explore the various causes of infertility, and TCM disease pattern identification and diagnosis. Topics will include TCM anatomy and physiology, menstrual and pregnancy-related disorders, and the TCM relationship to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).

Session 3: Diagnostic Methods in Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology

This course will focus on biomedical diagnostic methods and procedures related to infertility, including male and female surgical therapies and semen analysis. It will also introduce concepts of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), including Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

Focus on the management of infertility with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), specifically with the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Topics include developing a treatment plan, selection of herbs and acupoints, side effects and herbal interactions, and treatment indications.
