YSU awards up to three tutorships to enrolled full-time students on the basis of academic excellence and financial need. Application forms are available each trimester in the Administration Office and should be submitted to the Academic Dean before the end of the first week of classes. Students who receive tutorships volunteer a minimum of three hours per week, at $10 per hour to assist other students with their studies.To qualify for a tutorship a student must satisfy the following requirements:

• GPA of 3.3 or above for the previous trimester with 12 units

• All fees must have been paid on time (installments included).

• The tutorship request application must be completed by the specified deadline.

Recipients will be announced at the start of the second week of classes.
