A San Diego based Acupuncturist specializing in Orthopedic Pain Management and Symptomology, Worker’s Compensation, Sports Medicine, and one of the few fully integrated practitioners for Autoimmune care using acupuncture. Robert is an experienced biochemist and retired registered nurse, active professor and California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist. He had graduated with a Masters Degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine for Acupuncture and Herbology and recently has finished his Professional Doctorate (Ph.D. Equivalent) in Internal Medicine and Healthy aging for chronic illnesses where he had completed research on better diagnostics and integrative treatment for Lupus and Fibromyalgia

In the 24 years of medical experience, education and practice Robert has used methods taught to him by various Western clinicians in diagnostics as well as nutrition as a form of treatment. In 1997 he had the great honor to be taught acupuncture from Dr. Adriana Wu (Wu, Tung Lu) who was one of the original students of Dr. Tung in Taiwan, renowned for pain management and acupuncture anesthesiology. After four years of her teaching he spent six months in Taiwan where he treated patients with acupuncture and myofacial release in a community setting often caring for 60-80 patients a day. It was at this time that he decided to begin his Masters Degree in Acupuncture for licensure in California.

Dr. Deb graduated from Culver City’s Yo San University in 2001 with a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a California licensed Acupuncturist and is a member of the California State Oriental Medical Association. Dr. Deb received Acutonics ® I&II training from Kat Lyons, Esoteric Acupuncture training from Mikio Sankey, and Essential Oils training from Peter Holmes. She enjoys helping people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, Vaccine Injury, neuro-endocrine imbalances, and other issues.
Dr. Deb received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Parapsychic Sciences from the American Institute of Holistic Theology located in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2007. Her dissertation research focused on Interdimensional Disturbances and protection from it. Dr. Deb has helped mind controlled slaves on their journey toward being whole again as well as those experiencing various forms of psychic attack.

Dr. Deb was certified in NeuroEndocrine and Anti-Aging Regulation by the California College of Natural Medicine in 2015.

Raised in Southern California, Lisa attended University of Colorado at Boulder and completed her Bachelor’s of Elementary and Special Education at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Afterwards, she devoted three years of her life to studying and teaching yoga at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in New York. She is a 2016 graduate of our Master’s program and distinguished winner of the 2016 Dean’s Prize for Academic Excellence. She continues to intern in the YSU Clinic and will be licensed as a TCM practitioner by the end of 2016. She is enthusiastic about sharing the great programs that YSU has to offer and enjoys guiding future YSU students through their exciting new phase of becoming members of the YSU community.

Phillip Ward is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and a Nationally Certified Herbalist. He committed to walking the path of a healer in 1995, when he began studying the art of harmonious living with a Tai Chi and Qi gong master.
