Dr. Lawrence LauDr. Lau was born and raised in Singapore. He attended the National University of Singapore Allopathic (Western) Medical School where he completed his residency in Family Medicine. He then moved to Hong Kong to complete advanced training in Psychiatry. His interest in traditional Chinese medicine brought him to California where he attended Samra University in Los Angeles and completed his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) and received his California acupuncture license. He is also a Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.) from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)®

Dr. Lau has an integrative approach in his treatment style, using traditional Chinese medicine to complement conventional western medicine. He treats general internal medicine diseases in addition to immune disorders such a HIV, chronic and acute pain, and chronic stress and fatigue. Dr. Lau’s philosophy of care is to actively pursue wellness maintenance and prevention of sickness. Dr. Lau currently serves as the Vice President of Academic and Clinical Affairs at Yo San University, overseeing all academic programs in addition to the Yo San University Clinic. He is also one of our private practitioners in our Community Clinic.

Appointment cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment are subject to cancellation charges of $50.00 for licensed practitioner appointments.
